Pod Volunteer is an award winning non-profit organisation arranging ethical, inspiring and supported volunteering trips around the world since 2001.

We specialise in short term (1-4 weeks or longer) animal and conservation volunteering trips and educational holidays. We have chosen to focus on a carefully curated set of trips in countries where we have in-depth knowledge and expertise - in Costa Rica, Greece, Namibia, Peru, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

We are a friendly and highly knowledgeable team based in the UK led by our co-founder Alex. We visit our projects personally and have travelled extensively so we’d love to help you plan the trip of a lifetime! 

We are proud to be an Approved Activity Provider for the Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Award Scheme and we run many exciting and fully supported DofE Gold Residential trips overseas each year.

On our website, you’ll find full details and costs of each trip. All payments to us are fully protected by ABTOT so you can book with confidence. We don’t organise flights but will give you all the details required.
