Mother and son volunteer to help animals on holiday

Thank you so much to Simona and Lucas for choosing to spend their holidays this year helping rescued animals around the world with Pod Volunteer. 

After joining our Wildlife Rescue project in Costa Rica at the start of the year, they headed over to Thailand in the summer where Lucas joined our Elephant Care & Wildlife Rescue project on his own before they teamed up again to volunteer at our Dog Rescue project in Southern Thailand. What a fantastic way to help animals in need whilst making unforgettable memories together!

The Dog Rescue project are looking for volunteers to join for 1 week + throughout the year and it’s an ideal project for families with children aged 8 years + to join. Volunteers are needed to help walk and socialise the rescued dogs which gives them vital exercise, fun and freedom.
