Where can I travel

During 2021 we have been excited to send volunteers to our projects in Belize, Costa Rica, Greece and South Africa - you can read about some of their experiences travelling and volunteering here. The even better news is that many more of our destinations are now open and have just come off the UK travel red list!
You can book with peace of mind knowing that our Covid-19 cancellation policy means that in case it wasn’t possible to travel due to country level Covid restrictions, any payments to us are fully refundable or you could choose to change dates or even destinations.
Here is the current situation for each of our countries. Please get in touch if you would like to chat through your options or start planning a trip!
BELIZE
Open: Yes!
Covid entry requirements: negative Covid-19 test before arrival, stay at Gold standard accommodation (Pod projects are Gold Standard).
CAMBODIA
Open: Yes, but currently subject to a 14 day quarantine on arrival.
Covid entry requirements: visa before arrival, negative Covid-19 PCR test before arrival, proof of insurance, Covid-19 test on arrival, quarantine. Some visa categories are also required to give a $2000 USD deposit on arrival to cover potential quarantine and testing costs!
COSTA RICA
Open: Yes!
Covid entry requirements: health form. If you are not fully vaccinated you will also need specific travel insurance cover.
GHANA
Open: Yes!
Covid entry requirements: negative Covid-19 PCR test before arrival, health form, Covid-19 test on arrival.
GREECE
Open: Yes!
Covid entry requirements: online entry form. If you are not fully vaccinated you will also need a negative Covid-19 PCR test before arrival.
INDIA
Open: Not yet. We are expecting it to open up towards the end of 2021.
MADAGASCAR
Open: Not yet. We are expecting it to open up in 2022.
NAMIBIA
Open: Yes!
Covid entry requirements: negative Covid-19 PCR test before arrival.
PERU
Open: Yes! But it is currently on the UK travel red list.
Covid entry requirements: negative Covid-19 PCR test before arrival, health form.
SOUTH AFRICA
Open: Yes!
Covid entry requirements: negative Covid-19 PCR test before arrival, health form.
SRI LANKA
Open: Yes!
Covid entry requirements: negative Covid-19 PCR test before arrival, specific travel insurance cover, health form. If you are not fully vaccinated you will also need to take a Covid-19 test on arrival and then go into a ‘Tourism Bio Bubble’ for 14 days.
THAILAND
Open: Yes, but currently subject to quarantine on arrival. New ‘Sandbox’ scheme just launched to start to open up to fully vaccinated travellers in some of the islands including Phuket and Koh Samui.
Covid entry requirements: Certificate of Entry, some travellers subject to Covid-19 testing on arrival, quarantine.
